Realistic Agility and the Business Analyst
Join us for this presentation on: “Agility and the Business Analyst roles in improving an organization's agility” with our speaker Travis Foote.
In this presentation, Travis will provide a walkthrough of how important business analysis, played by good business analysts, is to improving an organization's agility. The focus will be placed on practicality. The speaker wants to paint a picture of agile in the real world, and takes away some of the idealistic, nearly impossible to achieve standards that some in the agile community try to sell. The speaker will show a few real scenarios that arise in agile, near-agile, and faux-agile environments and work through how to succeed as a business analyst in those situations.
About the speaker:
Travis Foote has extensive consulting experience as an Agile coach for various organizations from financial services, healthcare and health insurance, automotive to government and education institutions. With a background in software development, Travis acts as both a team player and Agile coach through enterprise coaching, team leading to hands-on project work.
From nearly a decade working in the trenches with various teams, and wearing multiple hats in web development, quality assurance, business analysis, project management and product development, Travis knows how to avoid pie in the sky ideas. Based on that, Travis is determined to put his current focus on promoting agility in organizations and guiding teams through successful agile engagements.
